AT0200-05th Eco-Drive Chronograph canvas Watch male citizen I updated to the eco-drive from a watch that recharged by wrist movement. So far I'm much happier with the eco-drive. It holds a charge much longer, so it's not a problem to leave it will check for a day or two. The green military style band on this I didn't like, but it was easy to exchange for a 20 mm band leather. The band's reserve was a tad small for my wrist. I expect a lot of men would need to exchange it. The numbers look great in photos, which are really great. I like big numbers, others might not.

May 2008 Update:
I still like this as much as the day has arrived! Works perfectly, it depletes the battery and never looks good. For those of you who have not paid for a decent watch, you might not realize you're missing out on a good quality glass/crystal face. Mine is still free to zero. The clock looks virtually new, although wear it every day.

Mares Dive Computer Nemo Wide-AS-ONE

List Price : $579.99

Sale Price : $498.95

You Save : $81.04 (14%)

Mares Dive Computer Nemo Wide-AS-ONE great dive computer.
Operation: works well, knows how to use it and what you're looking for before you go into the water. If you need a decompression stop, is a small icon that you should be looking for. Automatically turns on when on decent.
Initial Setup: Setup is easy
Computer interface: requires an iterface cable not included with your computer. Works fine, but when I deleted the first two entries from the test data, it has deleted the detailed data from my other dives. When you print the log, the default format is for the European card, so you have to reset A5 paper and adjust the margins for printing. To date, I haven't found a way to save the defaults as "letter" paper.

Overall it works great and the big screen is nice visually. Background lighting works great for night dives. Accommodation and straps seem strong and safe.

The only problems I could find were that a few of the letters) appears as uppercase and lowercase b) others as I have never heard an audible under water ... but I wear a cap c) there is a remote tank pressure monitor for this computer.

Oceanic GEO 2.0 computers slate blue

Sale Price : $429.95

Oceanic Geo 2.0 air/Nitrox Computer Watch I got the Geo 2.0 just before a trip to Little Cayman. This is my first dive computer, and there was a bit of a learning curve. The printed manual included in the package is very short and, for me, really inappropriate. The more detailed manual is available online and was a better resource for me.

The computer looks nice, kind of like a clock, but does not seem I was walking around with a hockey disk on my wrist. (I think it looks better than Geo 1, who, in bright colors, it looks almost like a toy).

Stores 2 different reservoirs, which can be used for 2 different blends of Nitrox customizable, or just air. Switches to dive mode automatically once you have started to fall. It also has 2 different conservative factors, or is not possible to select any conservative factor at all. Also can be programmed to remind you to make a stop deep for a certain period of time (do not use this feature). Also has the standard safety stop (5 m/15 ft) timer that can also be changed from 3 to 5 min min whatever you like (the start timer automatically when you are near 15 feet). The Geo 2 also will play an alarm when they are growing too quickly, the rate of ascent is also displayed in the upper-right corner outside of the chart. The upper left corner has a TLBG (tissue loading Bar Graph) which basically charts how long away along six to claim the decompression (I'm not requiring decompression, but is a graphical representation of how they pushed the). The 2.0 has a timer to when you can fly. Remembers your dives (the manual says up to 24 dives) w/max depth, dive time, date and time of the dive, water temperature and maximum load fabric and ascending.

The Geo 2 also has a free immersion mode that I have used. Also has a lot of your wristwatch digital standard functions including an alarm, Chronograph (basically a stopwatch), a "Countdown" and the ability to store 2 different time zones.

It is a compass that many more expensive computers have (this is not a big problem for me). No wireless gauges etc which are high-end computers. It also includes the computer's interface. If you want, you will need to buy separately.

Overall I'm pleased with my purchase of my first dive computer. I got the white version that seems almost grey.

Suunto Core altimeter Watch Alu, One Size

List Price : $275.00-$724.99

Sale Price : $275.00

Suunto Core wrist Top Computer Watch have had this watch a little over a week and decided to write a review for this.

Only a brief comparison of two top-notch watches ABC:-the core and the titanium Casio Pathfinder paw-1500, that buy just over three weeks ago as well. I would say, the cosmetic design, rich functionality, the accuracy of ABC and the graphical display of the nucleus, is better than the Pathfinder. However, the material of construction, readability and press the button, is not as good as the Pathfinder.

The display is in reverse format, namely the background is black, and alpha-numeric letters are white-silver. Adjusting the contrast in Suunto Help menu hidden, but of course still not clear how the normal letter black on white background. Through no fault of the Suunto, but just the way you design. The buttons are responsive and easy to press. To navigate through the menus, "Mode" button and the "show" button must be pushed into a different combination of getting what you want. It might seem confusing at first, but once you understand the logical layout, it is quite easy to remember. Give yourself a couple of days to get used to it.
I have worn this watch for a two-week trip in Eastern Europe. I used all ABC functions intensively, particularly the altimeter and compass. For starters, all reads are extremely precise, as has always been. The only inaccuracy is the barometer when worn on the wrist, which is understandable due to the influence of body temperature. The clock has worked flawlessly during extreme weather, ranging from 1 degree Celsius (external), all the way up to warmer than 40 degrees Celsius (bore pool hotspring for hours). I also used the daily alarm, twice daily, lighting for a night on average 3 times and the battery is still kicking like a champion. Many reported that the battery died after a month or so even with the use of light, it seems that Suunto has fixed this flaw. Still, it was only a month of intensive, so I can't say for sure. Also if you need to replace the battery every 6 months, I think it's still worth it as the battery costs less than a couple of dollars to replace. So, my conclusion is: The Core recovered his reputation in my book. I have no doubt that it will continue to perform well. Just make sure that you buy the one with the latest firmware (after serial number: 92xxxxxx HW SW: 1.1.0: 3A. Please rate and comment if you found it useful

Suunto X-Lander wrist-Top Computer watch with altimeter

List Price : $329.00

Sale Price : $299.00

You Save : $30.00 (9%)

Suunto X-Lander wrist-Top Computer watch with altimeter, barometer, compass and chronograph, I recently ordered this watch from Amazon as a companion for an observer LTt to wear in the field. While the observer is a latest model both share very similar functionality and ease of operation.

Before my recommendation is that making this order from amazon.com and be wary of the same item offered by "sellers market place". At the time that I put the amazon.com order initially was out and the wait has been estimated at 3 to 5 weeks. Since the item was offered also by another seller in amazon referral system I have placed an order and wound up with the wrong clock; It turns out that the seller does not bear market black face model. Fortunately amazon has obtained a supply at my watch and shipped within 24 hours ... good service. The black face is a bit difficult to find.

Now then, the clock itself. First of all is great ... but very light; I almost as light as the titanium observer. The larger face making it easier to read and Suunto is apparently returned to the band (waterproof), which I prefer. Functionally, the clock is a full-time keeper blown and navigation system (GPS) including stop clock/stopwatch functions, a precise altimeter, barometer and electronic compass. Both the compass and altimeter are accurate as I found in analog handset. Alarms are strong enough (unlike the only chink in the observer) and my only criticism is that the rear is weak compared to the observer, but that fault does not draw anything from 5-star rating. Add the user-replaceable battery (Suunto makes a kit that includes the battery, a water/dust seal and a new CAP), the intuitive operating system and you have the time-piece country back.

Suunto has been the first to offer this type of piece of time and, in my opinion, still offers the best. I used their computer underwater and compasses for years and I'm a fan of many products. I don't think there's a clunker in the catalog.

Lowrance iFinder media indexing solution GO waterproof hiking GPS

Sale Price : $59.94

Lowrance iFinder media indexing solution GO waterproof hiking GPS yellow, the display is very impressive for monochrome LCD. This is the only beautiful thing I have to say about this GPS. The map shows only the State and federal roads. Not appear smaller roads.

Accuracy is not as advertised. Fists in a point home, walked several feet hunred and walked back. When I returned to the original post, I read that 50 to 100 feet away (I tried multiple times).

My first time to use it in the field, rushed upon me. I tried everything. Also the power button didn't work. I had to remove batteries for a few minutes to get it back to life.

Very disappointed. Lowrance I contacted by e-mail. We will see how is their customer service department.
