Oceanic GEO 2.0 computers slate blue

Oceanic Geo 2.0 air/Nitrox Computer Watch I got the Geo 2.0 just before a trip to Little Cayman. This is my first dive computer, and there was a bit of a learning curve. The printed manual included in the package is very short and, for me, really inappropriate. The more detailed manual is available online and was a better resource for me.

The computer looks nice, kind of like a clock, but does not seem I was walking around with a hockey disk on my wrist. (I think it looks better than Geo 1, who, in bright colors, it looks almost like a toy).

Stores 2 different reservoirs, which can be used for 2 different blends of Nitrox customizable, or just air. Switches to dive mode automatically once you have started to fall. It also has 2 different conservative factors, or is not possible to select any conservative factor at all. Also can be programmed to remind you to make a stop deep for a certain period of time (do not use this feature). Also has the standard safety stop (5 m/15 ft) timer that can also be changed from 3 to 5 min min whatever you like (the start timer automatically when you are near 15 feet). The Geo 2 also will play an alarm when they are growing too quickly, the rate of ascent is also displayed in the upper-right corner outside of the chart. The upper left corner has a TLBG (tissue loading Bar Graph) which basically charts how long away along six to claim the decompression (I'm not requiring decompression, but is a graphical representation of how they pushed the). The 2.0 has a timer to when you can fly. Remembers your dives (the manual says up to 24 dives) w/max depth, dive time, date and time of the dive, water temperature and maximum load fabric and ascending.

The Geo 2 also has a free immersion mode that I have used. Also has a lot of your wristwatch digital standard functions including an alarm, Chronograph (basically a stopwatch), a "Countdown" and the ability to store 2 different time zones.

It is a compass that many more expensive computers have (this is not a big problem for me). No wireless gauges etc which are high-end computers. It also includes the computer's interface. If you want, you will need to buy separately.

Overall I'm pleased with my purchase of my first dive computer. I got the white version that seems almost grey.
